Las Vegas Fashion Instructor Featured in Las Vegas Review-Journal
August 5, 2016
Leah Benitez, fashion instructor at The Art Institute of Las Vegas, was recently featured in Las Vegas Review-Journal. The newspaper recently started a new baby boomer section and was interested in a story about boomers and fashion.
In the article, Benitez discusses fashion for different demographics and mentions that building an outfit can simply be a matter of reaching into the closet for a piece that is suddenly new again. She adds that this gives boomers an advantage—they have classics in their closets that can become part of any look—from the classic Audrey Hepburn-style to the more bohemian look of the ’60s and ’70s.
Benitez mentions that there are also options for boomers looking to update their wardrobe by using a few simple rules, designs, and patterns that are popular across different generations.
