(Los Angeles, November 2015) The Art Institute of California – Los Angeles, a campus of Argosy University has been working with Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles and was introduced to Chelsea Cullens. Chelsea is 17 years old and has been diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease. Chelsea’s dream is to become an animator for Disney and her goal is to attend The Art Institute of Los Angeles. On November 18, Chelsea visited The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles campus and touched the hearts of everyone she met.

Two Graduates Featured in The Kingsburg Recorder

(Los Angeles, August 2015) Graduates from The Art Institute of California – Los Angeles, a campus of Argosy University were featured in The Kingsburg Recorder, a weekly paper for people living and working in Kingsburg and surrounding areas in Fresno, Calif. Both Ruben Morales, a 2008 graduate, and Charles Elliott Stalie, a 2010 graduate, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Game Art & Design.The article discusses the success of the graduates in breaking into the industry after attending The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles. Morales and Stalie had internships with game studio Heavy Iron and an Xbox Arcade company, where they worked on games like Disney Infinity and South Park: The Stick of Truth. Both are working at Treyarch, the main studio behind the “Call of Duty” franchise. According to publisher Activision Blizzard, “Call of Duty” has sold more than 175 million copies worldwide, with roughly $10 billion in sales.
