What was the inspiration for your artwork?

The inspiration behind this artwork was the Indian culture blended with western fashion, more like indo-western fusion. These collections are part of what I've presented in various fashion shows in India, where I'm from.

Please explain what we are seeing in your pieces and (MEDIA USED, TECHNOLOGY, OR SOFTWARE USED) how you went about creating them.

It’s more Indo-western fusion themed where the lehengas (the skirts worn as part of the Gagra choli or Langa Voni, or traditional dress) are made and presented traditionally while the upper part of the garment is more modern or western style with halter necks or tube top. Other collections I designed, called Angadha, were inspired by Kollam, which is a design made up of dots usually put outside the houses back in India. These were all hand painted. The garments were all produced by hand in India.
