The garments will be judged and the top 10 will be selected to be on display at Macy’s South Beach store for their commemorative event featuring men’s cancer survivors on June 18, 2015 from 6pm-8pm The winning students will receive a Macy’s gift card and bragging rights. The garments will be on display at Macy’s South Beach through Father’s Day.
“This is a great opportunity for our students to be involved with such an amazing cause. There have been so many of us impacted by cancer and men’s cancer in particular, this is a great way for us and our students to create awareness and give back,” says Charlene Parsons, fashion director for Miami International University of Art & Design.
