Miami International University of Art & Design Gives Back to Two Local High Schools

Miami International University of Art & Design (MIU), in Partnership with “Adopt a Classroom,” recently donated to the art departments of two South Florida high schools, Ronald W. Reagan Doral High School and North Miami Senior High School. The monetary donation will be used to buy art supplies for the teachers’ classrooms.
Miami International University of Art & Design’s high school representative Oscar Lopez presented a check to Ronald W. Reagan Doral High School on April 19, 2017. Ronald W. Reagan Doral High School Principal, Mr. Boué said, “[it was] such a nice, generous thought that MIU chose our high school, this will definitely help our art department with supplies.”
On May 2, Chris Flannagan, high school representative presented a check to North Miami Senior High School principal, Mr. Branton, Art Department chair Mr. Gregory and art teacher Mrs. Vanover as part of the AdoptAClassroom.org initiative.
