Miami Students Create Projects Inspired by the Senses During Fashion Week

Miami International University of Art & Design partnered with Paris Perfumes Inc. and CARON Paris during Miami Art Week. The partnership involved three classes including Music Production taught by Alfonso Gutierrez, Film Production taught by Orly Shuber, and Fashion Design coordinated by Charlene Parsons, Department Chair of Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, and Accessory Design.
 
Students in each class were asked to use their imaginations in order to create projects inspired by CARON Paris' history, fragrance notes, and the theme of timeless love. Each class represented a particular sense: hearing, smell, and touch.
