Students working toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Filmmaking & Video Production at Miami International University of Art & Design recently covered a red carpet event for the “Recent Cinema from Spain” festival. The students’ participation was organized by instructors Orly Shuber and Roberto Echevarria. The event featured the premiere of Sony Pictures’ film ABRACADABRA, directed by Pablo Berger. Maribel Verdú, Antonio de la Torre, and José Mota star in the film. ABRACADABRA is on the shortlist for the Academy Awards’ best foreign language film. The students had the exciting opportunity to conduct interviews and work to find the perfect spot to capture a great shot. The theater was filled to capacity with actors, directors, students, and attendees.
