The exhibition will feature 100+ images of the best photographers in LATAM with the five final pieces available to be voted on that evening,” says Marco Caridad, exhibit curator.
With over 100 images submitted, a judging panel of Latin American photographers. narrowed it down to the top five pieces. On March 16, attendees will have the opportunity to award the “Best in Show” award including a $500 prize.
“The University is a firm supporter of not only diversity, but of artists in general. We are thrilled to host this amazing contest and exhibition showcasing top Latin American photographers. We are especially proud to be partnering with one of our very own alums for this exhibit [Marco Caridad],” says Erika Fleming, president of Miami International University of Art & Design.
