[Miami, FL   April 13, 2015] Miami International University of Art & Design will once again host the second annual

FashInvest Miami Capital Conference taking place April 28-30. The two-day event hopes to connect fashion technology

businesses with investors in a quick pitch event where businesses get an opportunity to pitch their business to

investors.

The conference will feature up to 15 selected and vetted emerging startup companies presenting their opportunities in a

quick pitch format with the goal of fostering a strategic partnership with an investor. The conference will also feature

industry keynotes and panel presentations along with networking opportunities including an evening reception on April 28

at 5pm at Miami International University of Art & Design. The two-day conference also offers the selected company

participants an opportunity for coaching sessions prior to the quick pitch.

“We are very excited to be hosting the conference again this year; it really provides our fashion students the opportunity to

see what the industry requires first hand,”says Charlene Parsons, fashion director for Miami International University of Art

& Design.
