What was the inspiration for your artwork?

The illustrations I have done come from different designs I proposed to create for fashion shows. The inspirations range from tropical flairs to the concept of vulnerability. Both my menswear and women's wear aesthetic influence each other to create pieces that showcase smart tailoring, playing with pattern-making and construction while keeping a keen minimal eye to keep the overall looks very modern.

How did you go about creating them?

All of these pieces were made possible with the use of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. My favorite application has to be Illustrator for the ability to create shapes that can be molded into anything. All the features in the faces of my illustrations, makeup and shadows, were all done using shapes done with the Pen tool and adding filters and effects such as Gaussian Blur to achieve an airbrushed effect. With the right use of color I was able to execute the look of makeup and contour a solid beige oval into a beautiful face to showcase my fashion designs.
