Ai Tennessee—Nashville Culinary Arts Dazzles at the 9th Annual Taste of Donelson-Hermitage

The Art Institute of Tennessee—Nashville, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta. participated as a local restaurant and as a sponsor at the 9th Annual Taste of Donelson-Hermitage on April 10. The event took place at the Inn at Opryland and was sponsored by the Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce, which is a member.

Culinary Arts Program Director Chef Anthony Mandriota, along with Emily Cummings and Alek Williams—both who are pursuing degrees in Associates of Arts (AA) in Culinary Arts students—served over 300 portions of Chicken and Rice muffin with Salsa Rojas and cilantro sauce.

Other participating restaurants included: The Aquarium and Rainforest Café from Opry Mills, Mirko Pasta, Taziki’s, Chik-fil-A, Zaxby’s and Backstage Opry Grill.

Twenty local businesses were invited to the Taste Business Expo potion of the event that allowed them to speak with attendees about everything from banking to volunteerism to Health and Wellness.
