New York City Student Hebron Warren Wins 1st Place in NYPD Poster Competition
December 20, 2016
Hebron Warren, who is working toward an Associate in Applied Science in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of New York City, won the 2nd annual NYPD Campus Sexual Assault Awareness Poster competition. Hebron was honored in a ceremony by the NYPD. There were over 150 entries in the competition, and in addition to the monetary prize, Hebron’s poster will be sent to all colleges in New York City to post. His work will also be featured on the NYPD site, blog, and Twitter.
The NYPD asked that a mentor introduce the winning students at the ceremony. Dimitri Koumbis, Department Chair, Graphic Design and Web Design & Interactive Media, The Art Institute of New York City, introduced Hebron and recognized him for his talents. Hebron then spoke—praising the work of all the entrants before discussing his piece.
