The Art Institute of California—Orange County, a campus of Argosy University, recently hosted #AiAfterdark to help attendees learn more about careers in the creative arts and experience what the Orange County campus life is like.
The pre-party started at 6pm. Attendees got to enjoy late-night munchies from the culinary department, a tasty mocktail bar, various glow accessories, and an amazing glow in the dark paint party. DJ BOSSMAN Q energized the crowd with live music and spontaneous “How are you doing, Orange County?!” greetings in between sets.
When the workshops started at 8pm, guests got immersed in a hands-on design challenge specific for each program: molecular gastronomy, design layouts, animation design, fashion forms, furniture design, and more.
Overall, it was an exciting after-hours event that challenged and inspired guests to use their creative talents. According to Director of Campus Relations Sheila Estaniel, “Everyone had such a great time. We created, collaborated, and – oh yes – we danced, danced, danced the night away!”
