2010 Diploma in Art of Cooking graduate Carli Savedra of The Art Institute of California—Orange County, a campus of Argosy University, has been praised by OC Weekly for her culinary contributions to The Water Brewery restaurant menu.

According to the feature, Savedra is one of two chefs behind what OC Weekly describes as “one of the best vegetarian menus in Orange County” with “vegetables cooked as they’re meant to be cooked.” The award-winning restaurant critic who wrote the article highlights the restaurant’s delectable bahn mi tacos, sandwiches, and soups like the Seabroth, Bodhi Bowl, a zucchini bisque, and a summer chili. For more details, read the full review on OC Weekly here.

Prior to her work at The Water Brewery, Savedra has held roles in several renowned California restaurants including Charlie Palmer of South Coast Plaza and Old Vine Cafe as well as worked abroad in Italy and Denmark. Savedra is also part of the duo behind catering company The Annica, which utilizes locally sourced organic produce and responsibly sourced proteins.
