Costume Maker Simone Williams Visits The Art Institute of California—Orange County Campus

The Art Institute of California—Orange County, a campus of Argosy University, welcomed Craftsperson Simone Williams to campus on Friday, June 4, 2016. She talked with students in the Digital Filmmaking & Video Production program.

Simone C. Williams is a specialty costume maker, puppet costume maker, and creature fabricator who has worked in film, television, and theatre in Los Angeles for 18 years. 

As a former member of Motion Picture Costumers Local #705, Simone was a puppet costume maker for four seasons of the Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Corolla Comedy Central Show, “Crank Yankers.”  He other puppet and walkabout suit work includes the children’s TVshow “Yo Gabba Gabba,” and her leiderhosen can be seen on a yeti puppet in Weird Al Yankovic’s video for “Polkaface.”
