The Art Institute of Philadelphia Student Featured on Billypenn.com

(Philadelphia, October 2015) Fashion students at The Art Institute of Philadelphia participated in a contest to design a captain’s costume for the leader of the Greater Overbrook String Band, Mummers New Year’s Day parade. Billypenn.com did a piece on the competition and the winning student, Briana Bailey.  Journalist, Anna Orso, interviewed Ai Philadelphia student Briana Bailey and instructor Karen Karuza, as well as Bill Razzano, captain of the Greater Overbrook String Band. 

Briana Bailey, a BS in Fashion Design student at The Art Institute of Philadelphia,is in the process of working with Al DelBuono, South Philly Mummers costumer, to bring her sketch to life. The Overbrook band captain will wear her design on New Years Day at the parade.
