The Art Institute of Phoenix Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts and Animation student Orlando Jones is the talented artist behind the colorful illustrations adorning the pages of Valedictorian, a motivational children’s book now available on Amazon. A veteran of the US Air Force, Jones’ favorite activity has long been drawing, although he enjoys art and creativity of all kinds, including graphic novel and comic book illustration, music production and DJing, catering, fashion design, and creating video game concepts.

Valedictorian empowers and teaches readers to strive for academic excellence using the story of four sisters who are learning and taking inspiration from each other as they grow up together. The book includes a glossary to help young readers build their vocabulary, an inspiring list of famous valedictorians and salutatorians, and bonus valedictorian-in-training certificate and poster inserts.

“This beautifully illustrated, vividly colored children's book promotes education and the importance of always striving to do your very best,” says author Guy Lodge.
