October 27, 2017
The Art Institute of Phoenix recently participated in Mayor Greg Stanton’s City of Phoenix initiative, “Principal for a Day.” Over 60 schools paired with 65 local business executives and community leaders to work alongside Phoenix public and charter school principals to actively participate in the school's administration for one day.
The Art Institute of Phoenix’s director of community relations teamed up with Paseo Pointe K-8’s principal, Kristi Pashley, to experience the life of a school principal for a day. The goal of the initiative is to form lasting partnerships to improve the quality of education, workplace readiness, and leadership development programs in Phoenix.
The program later included a Principal for a Day 2017 luncheon.
