Art Institute of Phoenix Film Club Members Create Music Video
February 17, 2016
When Dr. Debra Gold, Psy.D., learned that her musician daughter was looking to make a video, she knew just who to contact. Gold, an Associate Professor and Chair at the College of Arts and Sciences at Argosy University, Phoenix, often ran into film students from The Art Institute of Phoenix while riding the elevator to her job. She asked them if they’d be interested in taking on the project.
“My daughter’s [group] recorded a single that included contributions from well known touring musicians. They really wanted to make a music video for the release but had very little funding. I told the students about this project [and] they decided to include the Film Club and make it a project,” says Gold.
The video was shot at The Art Institute of Phoenix, as well as other locations around the city. It’s now online at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rANsA_BpRso.
The Art Institute of Phoenix Film Club students who participated in the project are: Ryan Baker, Paul Duarte, Josh Williams, Kyle Bryant, and Ashley Januzik.
