On March 12, 2016, fashion students from The Art Institute of Phoenix had their white shirt designs featured during the “Spring into Style” Phoenix Fashion Week show. The school sponsored renowned local stylist, Nuvia Magdahi, who was charged with styling white shirts for this show. Magdahi utilized shirts designed by the students, which were then seen by over 700 fashion show attendees. The shirts were also featured on social media.

Participating student designers also had their names featured during the models’ final walks down the runway.

In addition to the school’s participation in the runway event, The Art Institute of Phoenix hosted a seminar for stylists at the Fashion Hub at Phoenix Fashion Week headquarters. The seminar, “The Foundation of Style,” featured five instructors from The Art Institute of Phoenix.
