During the 2017 football season, the NFL’s AFC second-seeded Pittsburgh Steelers collaborated with several Art Institute of Pittsburgh students to create pieces representing regular season matchups. The artwork was then retweeted by the Steelers on their Twitter page (@steelers).

As six-time Super Bowl Champions, the Steelers have a large fan base and social media following with over 11.3 million followers across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as of January 2018.

It was an amazing opportunity for the following talented Art Institute of Pittsburgh students to put their spin on some of the regular season weekly matchups, while being recognized for their artwork and getting fans amped for upcoming games. Here is some of their work!
