Pittsburgh Culinary Alums Provide ‘Innovative Mobile Catering’

Tony Marinho and Jeff Hurff, who both in 2012 earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Culinary Management from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, were recently featured on KDKA TV for their food truck business “Innovative Mobile Catering.”

Marinho and Hurff originally started out with a traditional food truck, but after being asked to do a catering event for a client, they decided to make a change. They say that a catering food truck is a unique concept because they cook everything onsite—then serve it immediately to guests.

Marinho and Hurff use local, fresh ingredients whenever possible. They cater movie sets and outdoor weddings, among other events.
