Art Institute of Pittsburgh Student Creates Winning T-shirt Design
June 5, 2016
Molly Spinos, who is working toward a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, recently won the “MINI Road Rally Takes the States Pittsburgh” T-shirt contest.
Her design will be featured on a limited edition MINI Road Rally T-shirt this summer. The challenge was to create artwork that captures the spirit of the city. Spinos’ design includes a MINI, dog, and iconic Pittsburgh bridge.
MINI Takes the States is a two-week event (July 9-23, 2016) where MINI owners rally and travel across the country. The trip takes them from the Atlanta Motor Speedway to the Thermal Club outside Palm Springs, California. Along the way, they make stops in several cities, including Pittsburgh on July 12-13.
