Portland Apparel Design Student is Finalist in “The Arts of Fashion International Fashion Student Competition”

Lee Richards, who is working toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Apparel Design at The Art Institute of Portland, is a finalist in “The Arts of Fashion International Fashion Student Competition,” sponsored by the Arts of Fashion Foundation. Lee is one of three people accepted from the entire United States.
He will spend the next few months creating his garments to try and earn one of four available internships with couture studios in Paris and India. Each internship is between four weeks and four months in length.
