Culinary Arts ACF Food Preparation

The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institutes have produced graduates who are working at all levels in the culinary industry. These successes are a credit to the hands-on education students receive in our professional kitchens—guided by Chef instructors.

While one measure of success is our graduates, another is professional recognition from industry leaders like The American Culinary Federation (ACF)—the premier professional chefs’ organization in North America, with over 20,000 members. ACF has given its programmatic accreditation to over 15 locations of The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institutes—most recently, The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham, a campus of South University.

In addition to the accreditation, some of our culinary degree programs have received a rating of Exemplary—the highest level in ACF standards.
