The Art Institute of San Antonio Proudly Supports the March of Dimes Signature Chef's Event

The culinary department proudly supported the 2017 March of Dimes Signature Chef Auction on October 6, 2017 at the La Cantera Resort & Spa. The evening featured local chefs and the culinary team had two separate booths supported by faculty and students. One tasting booth featured a Latin influenced smoked brisket appetizer and the other with a delicious layered “Margarita” inspired dessert. During weeks prior to the event, the students and faculty prepared chocolate truffle boxes that were delivered for VIP attendees by The March of Dimes staff. The culinary department raised $3,600 for future efforts to research and prevent birth defects.
