KALEIDOSCOPE 2018 — Annual Fashion Show

On Tuesday, March 13, the high-energy fashion runway will be filled with the original design collections of students from The Art Institute of San Antonio, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston, and with the season’s hottest trends from local retailers. The event starts at 7 p.m. at the La Quinta Inn & Suites, located at 4431 Horizon Hill Blvd, San Antonio, TX and is entirely student planned, organized and executed.
Local retailers have partnered with the students in the non-profit school’s Bachelor of Science in Fashion & Retail Management program to highlight the new trends for Spring 2018.
In the same show, students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design students will display their senior collections which feature a cohesive theme in a series of related garments. Models from Nelson Modeling Agency will wear the designs of the following students:

· Andrea Ramirez

Fashion retail partners for the show include Bevello, Cotton On, Chic’tique, Dicks Sporting Goods, Hemline, Versona Accessories, and Victoria Secret. The garments and accessories from local retailers will be styled by students to demonstrate upcoming trends. Additional promotional support is being provided by HEB, Lolli & Pops, and RED Restaurant.
The evening will begin with mocktail drinks and hors d’oeurves created by The Art Institute of San Antonio’s culinary students. It will also include biographies of each student designer, captured by students in the school’s media arts programs, that will set the stage for their collection.
