HEAT Fundraiser Dinner

The organization was formed in 1996 to further professionalism from secondary educators who are teaching hospitality and tourism programs in the State of Texas. Several culinary classes were involved with the preparation of dishes for the five course dinner focused on the cuisines of Texas. The Senior Culinary Practicum class supported the final preparation needed for the dinner and the service to a sold out restaurant. The restaurant was decorated with traditional San Antonio Fiesta colors and the menu highlighted the fusion of German/Czech and Latin cuisines seen in South Texas.
