The Art Institutes system of schools expanded their presence at PAX South this year with students from four of its schools showcasing their games January 12-14.

Students from The Art Institute of Houston, The Art Institute of San Antonio, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston, The Art Institute of Dallas, a branch of Miami International University of Art & Design, and The Art Institute of Austin, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston, were on hand to show their work to potential employers and attendees.

The Art Institute of San Antonio had two playable games at their booth that were produced by current students from the campus.

A third playable game, "Quandry," rounded out the third student team game. This group of students have formed their own gaming company and had their own booth at PAX South. The game "Quandry" has since evolved and will be shown at the 2018 SXSW Gaming Expo in March!
