Future Chef's Challenge | April 1, 2017

The Art Institute of San Antonio, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston is proud to support the Hospitality Educators Association of Texas (HEAT) first annual “Future Chef’s Challenge” on Saturday April 1st 2017 at Ai San Antonio campus. High School student teams of three will be given a mystery basket of food products with which they will have thirty minutes to create a menu then three hours to prepare 4 servings of a 3-course menu. The students will find a protein, a starch, vegetables and one mystery item in their baskets as they race to make a culinary crowd pleaser. The winning team will be determined by a panel of local chefs and celebrities. The winner will be taking home the Culinary Award of Champion for San Antonio.
