Culinary Supports the 22nd Annual Zoo La-La Taste of San Antonio

The Art Institute of San Antonio, a branch campus of The Art Institute of Houston, supported the 22nd annual Zoo La-La event on May 11th for the San Antonio Zoo. Chef Instructors and more than 40 students worked the upscale tasting event through two different stations and also helped local San Antonio restaurants with their stations. Musical guests the Spazmatics along with Texas Country star Matt Caldwell, Howl2GO, Dueling Pianos San Antonio and DjQuake SA provided a variety of musical entertainment. Local celebrity Spurs Jesus and the actor who played Steve Urkel, Jaleel White was on site for pictures with guests.

The Ai San Antonio pastry station served two Panda & Koala inspired macaroons and animal print roulades with Cheetah and Giraffe patterns. The Ai San Antonio Savory Station served Glazed Chicken Wings and Sliced Beef Flank Steak.
