Courage to Call, a local non-profit that helps support Veterans in the San Diego community, recently reached out to The Art Institute of California—San Diego, a campus of Argosy University, to help with a project. The organization worked with women Veterans on makeovers and wanted a professional photographer to photograph them in the Veterans Museum, in Balboa Park. Ary Thompson, a current Digital Photography Bachelor of Science student, volunteered to help. Both Thompson’s parents are Navy Veterans and he said that the opportunity to help inspired him.
