San Diego Student Alexis Wells Participates in Far West Young Chef & Pastry Competition

The event is hosted by the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs the world’s oldest international gastronomic society, founded in Paris in 1248.

Alexis is an Anchorage, Alaska native who is working toward an Associate of Science in Baking & Pastry at The Art Institute of California—San Diego. According to her website, she’s participated in nearly 10 cooking competitions. She’s a member of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Junior Hot Food Team and in 2015, competed in the ACF Santa Monica cooking salon, earning a Bronze ACF medal.
