Celebrity Chef Brian Malarkey Visits San Diego Campus

Celebrity Chef Brian Malarkey recently visited The Art Institute of California—San Diego, a campus of Argosy University, as a guest speaker. 

Chef Malarkey has started over a dozen successful restaurants across the United States including his newest restaurant in San Diego, Herb & Wood, which Zagat recognized among 2016’s biggest restaurant openings. He is also chef and partner of Herb & Eatery, a market and cafe located beside Herb & Wood.

Malarkey’s other restaurants include Searsucker (with 4 locations) and Herringbone (with 5 locations). He is also the partner/operator of three San Diego fast-service restaurants—including two Green Acre locations as well as the Farmer & The Seahorse. Previously a Top Chef finalist and a winning mentor on ABC’s The Taste, Chef Malarkey now appears as a judge on Food Network’s Guy’s Grocery Games and is a regular guest of the Today Show.

While on campus, Chef Malarkey toured the culinary facilities, meeting with faculty, staff, and students. After his talk, Chef Malarkey stayed for questions, photos, and autographs. Arranged by the San Diego Career Services team, the event was insightful, inspirational, and fun for all who attended.
