Ellyn Norris, faculty member, The Art Institute of California—San Diego and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh—Online Division, recently escorted digital photography students and alumni on a trip to Nepal.
Norris is no stranger to travel and adventure, frequently hosting student and alumni photography trips to destinations such as Iceland and Nepal.

Last year, Norris hosted a photography expedition with two current digital photography students, two alumni, and a professional portrait photographer to Nepal. For several years, Norris worked with the Bo M. Karlsson Foundation, providing images of Nepal. The foundation works to empower women through education and is currently sponsoring 17 women through university in Katmandu. During the trip to Nepal, the group worked with the foundation to photograph 15 of the 17 women to promote and advertise the foundation.

The Art Institute of California—San Diego is a campus of Argosy University.
