The Art Institute of California—San Diego, a campus of Argosy University, recently hosted a summer design College Bound workshop for interested high school juniors and seniors. Design instructor Nelle Martin instructed the workshop and took the students on a field trip to Brighton Press, a fine press specializing in limited edition artists’ books.

Ms. Martin is the associate director and master letterpress printer at Brighton Press. During the field trip, the class learned about different forms of printing and lettering.

College Bound classes are available to interested high school juniors and seniors throughout the year. For more information, please visit http://getcreative.aii.edu/.
