San Diego’s Deb Miller Presents Before The Jack Oakie Comedy Confabulation

Deb Miller, faculty member, The Art Institute of California—San Diego, a campus of Argosy University, recently presented to the Jack Oakie Comedy Confabulation at the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University. She discussed the topic “Comedy in the Golden Age.”

This presentation was her second time speaking on behalf of the Jack Oakie and Victoria Horne Oakie Charitable Foundation. In 2016, she presented at the College of the Canyons. Deb is also an active member of The International Animated Film Society: ASIFA Hollywood, and is currently working as a screenwriter and story consultant on an animated feature film. Miller teaches courses in Film & Society, The Language of Animation & Film, Acting for Animation, and Theatre and Voice & Diction.

The Jack Oakie and Victoria Horne Oakie Charitable Foundation’s mission is to award scholarships to deserving film and theater students across the country.
