Design work by 2015 BS in Graphic Design graduate of The Art Institute of California—San Francisco, a campus of Argosy University, Arjay Villanueva is on display in New York City’s Times Square.
Villanueva is a graphic designer at THX, a company founded by George Lucas in 1983 and known for its work in the audio and video industries. As an Ai student, Villanueva worked with the Ai Career Services team to land an internship with THX, where he has hired full-time immediately after his graduation in 2015. Since joining THX, his work has been displayed throughout the Bay Area, parts of Asia, and now in New York City.
The work shown in NYC is for a co-branded campaign featuring the new 1More Quad and Triple Driver headphones Certified by THX.
"I am so fortunate that The Art Institute has given me an opportunity to take on a path I've always dreamed of. They provided me with the education and skills I needed to be where I am today,” says Villanueva. “I am still continuing to learn and grow as a designer and it's a blessing to know that I have chosen a career in something I've always envisioned myself in. Always trust the process and enjoy it!"
