(San Francisco, September 2015) Kim Diaz, a 2000 graduate from The Art Institute of California - San Francisco, a campus of Argosy University, in the Bachelor of Science in Media Arts & Animation program, was profiled in Pacific Daily News regarding her position as the manager of recruitment and talent outreach at Pixar Animation Studios. She oversees all hiring efforts in her new position.
Previously she served as a career advisor for The Art Institute of California – San Francisco and would advise students on their studies and find opportunities for graduates. The position helped lead her to Lucasfilm Entertainment and eventually Pixar.
“I found out that I fell in love with working with people. I never even thought that this was a possibility. I could do something where I can be around the creative, plus do something I love? For me, it’s the best of all worlds,” she says.
