The Art Institute of California – San Francisco student published in SOMA Magazine
June 23, 2015
(California, June 2015) Valeria Mercado, a student at The Art Institute of California – San Francisco, a campus of Argosy University in the Fashion Marketing & Management Bachelor of Science program, has been published in SOMA Magazine. Valerie has been honing her writing skills with the campus Fashion Club under the guidance of Mikel Rosen, Fashion Design instructor, and was given the opportunity to intern at SOMA by instructor and magazine contributor, Johana Bohorquez. This is a great achievement for a current student, and fits in with her life goal of being a fashion writer, both in print and online.
Considered a leading voice of independent, avant-garde arts, fashion, culture and design for 27 years, SOMA Magazine in San Francisco has cultivated immense organic appeal and forged its place within thriving creative communities. As one of the few successful independent arts magazines, SOMA’s status and credibility makes it uniquely qualified to bring together the most spectacular creative industry figures. The magazine covers issues surrounding the creative arts, entertainment, technology and society, and is targeted to people interested in urban fashion and culture.
