Chef Mark Davis, Academic Director, Culinary, The Art Institute of California – San Francisco, a campus of Argosy University, was recently named the “Chef of the Year” by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) San Francisco Chapter.

The “Chef of the Year” award recognizes an outstanding culinarian who works and cooks in a full-service dining facility. The winning culinarian demonstrates the highest standard of culinary skills, advances the cuisine of America and gives back to the profession through the development of students and apprentices. Regional winners compete in a culinary competition at the national convention, where a panel of distinguished judges will select the national winner.

Chef Davis was honored at The Annual Chef and Purveyor of the Year Dinner, held at the University Club in San Francisco on Monday, February 29, 2016.
