Samsung’s Design and Product Evangelist team, based in San Francisco, recently held a workshop at The Art Institute of Seattle. The group opened the five-hour event with a discussion about their work and company. They then presented new Samsung-created tools that allow users to create their own apps for Samsung devices.

Students used the tools in a hands-on workshop session where they created custom themes for Samsung devices. During the workshop, students learned that this type of work could be turned into a career—and after the event concluded, they had the opportunity to network with the Samsung team.

With 112 students in attendance, the event provided an opportunity to meet industry leaders and learn from experienced individuals. Samsung also provided giveaways including swag bags, t-shirts, hoodies, and Samsung Gear Smart Watches.

This event was made possible by the Career Services team at The Art Institute of Seattle.

The Art Institute of Seattle offers programs in Visual Design, Interior & Product Design, Marketing, Animation & Effects. Film & Production, Gaming & Technology, Fashion, and Culinary Arts. Learn what you can do with a creative degree by visiting the school’s website.
