February 18, 2016
(SEATTLE, WA January 2016) – Chance McLaren, who in 2015 earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Photography from The Art Institute of Seattle, was recently featured in “Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.” The article focused on his creative inspiration and how he initially discovered his love for photography.
Growing up in Montana, McLaren used his father’s camera to capture scenic images. But it wasn’t until he moved to the Pacific Northwest to begin his studies at The Art Institute of Seattle that he discovered his interest in fashion photography. Now, he blends both passions in “minimalistic, clean, and edgy” images.
According to the profile in the magazine, his subject-centered images subtly play up movement and garments, while his landscape photography showcases an eye for the grandiose.
