Luke Kwan, Design Academic Director at The Art Institute of California – Silicon Valley, a campus of Argosy University, has recently been selected for two appointments that will help him shape the careers of young interior designers nationwide.

He was selected as one of the ten 2014 item writers for the National Council of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) examination. In this role, he will develop new multiple-choice questions for the NCIDQ Examination as a fair, reliable and valid determination of minimal competence in interior design.

Kwan was also selected to serve as the 2014 Emerging Talent editor for the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC) Exchange magazine, a quarterly magazine focusing on interior design education. As Emerging Talent editor, he will be focusing on students and working professionals with less than two years of working experience.
