Cross Collaboration Between Departments

Recently, two disciplines from The Art Institute of Virginia Beach, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, worked together to practice both of their skills—culinary and photography. Instructor Sonja Foster brought her Advanced Lighting Class members to the professional kitchens at the school to take portraits of the culinary staff.

During a quick tutorial by Chef Johnna Hamlin, the photography students also had the opportunity to learn about food photography styling techniques.
